NEGOTIATED IMPORTANT INCREASES & PARTNERSHIPS
- Spearheaded the advancement of the salary grade increases outside of negotiations. Singularly responsible for the proper implementation of those increases without detriment to any Officers statewide.

Executed the "Campaign for Safer Courts"- a long-term, multi-tiered advocacy campaign centered on driving public awareness of safety issues created by a massive staffing shortage several years ago. This campaign was driven by rallies held in every county and a media blitz that resulted in the unprecedented hiring of 650 Court Officers.

Partnered with new benefit providers, opening up accessibility and convenience for all members and their families.

All fees waived on home loans through CrossCountry Mortgage.

Developed a Legal Services Program to provide telephone advice or in-office consultations, document review, Legal letter, Real Estate sales, purchase and mortgage refinance, uncontested divorce/separation. All free to active members plus many other reduced fee legal services.
FORMED RELATIONSHIPS WITH CRUCIAL BENEFITS PROVIDERS

Instituted preventative health programs which have saved dozens of members' lives by identifying presymptomatic diseases.

Brought in a national dental plan paying 100% on in-network claims. Increasing family allowance from $2500 to $6500, and doubling the orthodontic benefit.

Brought in Davis Vision, increasing the eyeglass benefit and allowing retirees to receive the benefit once a year from every two years. Receiving 98% approval from users. Discount on Lasix surgery.

MADE SMART FINANCIAL & COMMUNITY INVESTMENTS

Created and managed the first-ever Supplemental Benefit Fund Trust, an annuity program for members who retire from the SCOA.

Completely restructured benefit offerings eliminating third-party administrators, saving the fund hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Created an SCOA app for members to update personal information, submit forms & receive important notifications.

Developed and produced SCOA's first-ever original radio program, highlighting the essential services performed by Court Officers and the challenges we face.

Created the dedication of new memorials for our Heroes of 9/11.

Awarded $400,000 in college scholarships to our members' children funded by Union-run events and activities.
WHAT DO OUR GOALS FOR THE FUTURE LOOK LIKE?
- Negotiate a new contract for all SCOA members.
- Address the Increasing staffing shortage by advocating for the hiring of 400 more officers.
- Launch an Advocacy Campaign against OCA's proposed Court Consolidation Plan, ensuring that our union and our members' needs are addressed.
- Focus on further adjustments and corrections to Tier 6 and pursue other pension reform legislation.
- Prioritize the integration of the Court Officer Unions through all avenues.
- Engage and educate Lawmakers and other Elected Officials throughout the State.
- Strengthen our occupation and its standing in NYS.
