Congratulations to SCO Michael Siano

by | Mar 27, 2013 | Events

We are very pleased and proud to announce that SCO Michael Siano, Grand Jury Warden, has been chosen to be a recipient of a Bernard Botein Award for 2013.  As most are aware, the award is given to employees of the court system who work within the First Department in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the administration of the courts.  The award is in memory of Bernard Botein, a former presiding justice of the Appellate Division and a former president of the New York Bar Association.

Senior Court Officer Michael Siano is deserving of such a prestigious award.  He has provided well over 15 years of outstanding, dedicated and distinguished service to the Supreme Court, Criminal Term, the Unified Court System and specifically to the many grand jurors that are summoned and serve in our Grand Jury Division.  Mike’s enthusiasm with respect to his duties is infectious and he adds genuine warmth and congeniality along with knowledge and intelligence which enhance the Grand Jury and the entire court process.  It is well known that Michael’s work performance goes well beyond normal expectations.  He is a committed public servant that responds to the needs of attorneys, grand jurors, the public, co-workers and others.

The presentation ceremony will take place on
