C.O. ‘Angel’ Ripolls Saves Life of 30 Day Old Infant

by | Sep 3, 2012 | Press

During a family trip in Danbury, CT on September 3, 2012, off-duty New York State Court Officer Angel Ripolls heard the screams of a lady who was holding her 30 day old baby boy.  The infant was limp and blue in the face.  When Officer Ripolls responded it was clear that the infant was choking and unable to breathe.  Using his training experience, Officer Ripolls performed an obstructive airway maneuver on the infant and saved the baby’s life.

The mother of the infant is grateful for Officer Ripolls quick action.  She truly believes an ‘Angel’ was sent to save her baby.
