SCOA President Honored
On September 22, 2016 SCOA President Patrick Cullen was honored by the Bronx Conservative Committee with their Lifetime Achievement Award. He was joined by Executive Board members and SCOA delegates as well as family and friends while being honored along side NYPD PBA President Patrick Lynch and Detective Nick Ciuffi of Bronx Homicide. In accepting the award Patrick noted how humbled he was to share such an honor with men of their caliber. He also thanked the entire membership for their loyal support especially during tough times stating, “Achievements are stops along a long road,which nobody walks alone.”

Lieutenant Theodore Leoutsakis Way
On Friday September 9th. The SCOA Executive Board joined scores of court officers both active and retired on the corner of 29th Street and 21st Avenue in Astoria, Queens for a ceremony lead by City Councilman Costa Constantanides during which the street was deservingly renamed Lieutenant Theodore Leoutsakis Way. We thank all who attended this remarkable ceremony which pays tribute to our fallen colleague and will stand to keep his memory alive forever.
