Rest In Peace Detective Joseph Lemm
Detective Joseph Lemm put his city first and his country first. He dedicated his life to protecting others. As an Air National Guard this selfless New Yorker was one of the American’s killed by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan. Our prayers and sympathy go out to his family and loved ones and to all those who strive to keep us safe here at home and throughout the world. R.I.P. Detective Lemm.

Letter from President regarding increment
In light of last week’s memorandum from the Office of Court Administration announcing a one line increment for all Court Officers and Sergeants, there were many concerns about the implementation of this plan. The concerns centered around whether service time would be negatively affected for all, but especially those who have reached longevity steps. Many of the unions who are slated to have members receive this increase have been in daily communication discussing these issues. (Click link to continue reading)

Today we were informed that after a lengthy review of title standards and content and volume of work the Office of Court Administration has decided to increase Court Officers and Sergeants one salary grade to reflect the job changes and additional responsibilities.
